Hokey Pokey on a Pokey Pokey Stick
I have been driving around with a Pokey stick in my car since Michelle brought it back for IZ on one of her business trips. It's not in my car for IZ but for his father who is the self-proclaimed and unchallenged pokey champion. Count on a Bajan to rename. Pokey is the deviation of Pogo and so that there is no difficulty with the verb (which always seems to give the problems in this dialect), pogo-ing or pogo sticking, jumping etc, has nicely been altered to doing the hokey pokey. Rickey has been doing the hokey pokey on the pokey pokey stick in every drive way, parking lot, gas station, fast-food drive thru and swimming pool area since its inception. Visualize.

I am visualising Rickey doing the hokey pokey along the rocks of bathesheba, hokey pokeying out of the windowless rims of his red car. I would ask him to try and hokey pokey while double dutch skipping.
